Sedation Dentistry

Nitrous Oxide Sedation (Laughing Gas)

Nitrous oxide is a colorless, odorless gas that is inhaled into your system. We use nitrous to relax very anxious patients and patients with strong gag reflexes. At the end of each appointment, the patient breathes oxygen for five minutes to flush out any remaining nitrous oxide.

General Anesthesia

General anesthesia is used to completely relax the body and put the mind to sleep.  While under general anesthesia, patients experience no anxiety or pain. We provide dental care under general anesthesia sedation through Facial and Oral Surgery in Pocatello, Blackfoot, and Preston.
